oh my goodness. that was a close one! L., in her sneakiness decided today that she would claim her own cherry roll that was innocently rising on the counter...
she tried to con me into helping since i have the height advantage, but no way!! does she think i am going to miss the baking frenzy going on right around the corner?? not a chance...especially when it
involves cooking spray & grandparents who have a practiced art of passing people food to dogs with sleight of hand! look at the devil dog go!...
mom, who has super-extra-amazing hearing, heard the rustling of something awry & she was all over that hound (but not before a few photo ops for the blog!)...
needless to say, L. had to go to dog prison (aka the "back bedroom") until the cherry rolls were safely in the oven. me??...i am sticking to cooking spray & errant cookie dough flying around the kitchen!...

Hey Phil - glad to hear you weren't conned by the "devil dog". I bet there "arose such a clatter" in the kitchen once her choppers hit the goods. (I can actually hear it in my head - wow!)
